Sydney Opera House inside

The Sydney Opera House Trust along with REM Theater commissioned Constantine Koukias to compose an Icon in 1993 as the 20th anniversary of The Sydney Opera House. Sydney is know for its appreciation of the arts and this is demonstrated by the complete commitment to them shown by the city’s residents. The opera house is an incredible visual spectacle and at night it is responsible for one of the gorgeous views found in and around the city. The building was constructed to contain a number of separate venues in order to accommodate a wide variety of music groups. Today, the largest auditorium is The Concert Hall, which serves as home base for the Sydney Symphony.
